There comes a time in our lives when we suddenly wake up to the fact that time is passing – and there’s not very much we can do about it. Those fresh, young looks we thought were going to be with us forever start to fade. Little by little we begin to change. When we look at ourselves in the mirror in the morning we don’t notice the difference – until we take a closer look. We start to worry about how to look younger.

There’s absolutely nothing to worry about getting older. We’ve been doing it all our lives! We all change as we mature, but we can do so and keep our looks – if we really, really try.
The one thing that we all tend to forget is that our bodies were meant to be used. Our modern day lifestyle mitigates against this. Too many of us sit in front of a computer screen all day and probably come home and watch television until we go to bed.
The net result of our inaction is that we age more quickly and, more importantly, we tend to put on weight. It happens almost imperceptibly. Gradually we become heavier, more lethargic and probably more unhappy with life – and ourselves.
If you want to look younger and feel younger you have to take note of what you eat and the amount and type of exercise you take. If you want to keep you young looks you have to work at it. Celebrities work very hard at it – you have to too.
So, what’s the best thing to do? What you eat is absolutely crucial. If you eat lots of ready meals and fast food, you are going to age more rapidly. If you smoke you are not only very unwise, but your skin will age very quickly indeed. If you don’t take proper intentional exercise every day your metabolism will be affected and you’ll find it more and more difficult to burn calories efficiently.
The best possible thing you can do is to cut out ready meals and all meat and go on a vegetarian diet. If you’ve not done it, I recommend you give it a try.
